It’s always fun doing Modeling Portfolio’s, but getting to shoot them in Berts Jazz Bar is that little bit extra special!
Paula Fraser did a fantastic job on the Make-up, Jade is a natural beauty but Paula turned her into a mini Beyonce – absolutely stunning.
Massive thanks to the Merchant and Berts for letting us use their Bar and for being so obliging (you know who you are). I’ll definitely be back under more social circumstances : )

Last month I had another lovely couple who were fantastic to take photographs of and completely open to going anywhere … queue Barrys!! WOO, step back kids …!!
Jill and Richard met up in Portrush many years ago so this was the perfect way to celebrate their Engagement. We seriously were like big kids for the day; Candy Floss at 10.30am followed by a spin in the souped up racing cars for toddlers and who can forget the Waltzer – bit of a marmite ride, I always loved it!
10p Machines had to be attacked of course without much success, Bumper Cars (poor Jill got a bit bullied), The Big Dipper (ouch), and of course you can’t go to the beach without making a sand castle (even if we did steal/borrow the props)!!
Fun day was definitely had by all … I think The Wedding Day might be sightly classier in Castle Leslie mind you, but hey it’s good to have the best of both worlds!!
Thanks Jill and Richard x

I have absolutely fallen in love with doing Engagement Shoots thanks to Gary and Lisa, I always love it when my couples think outside the box and that’s exactly what they did!!
Lisa grew up in Tassagh amongst the stepping stones, rivers, forest, viaduct and old mills; you’ll see in a sec how lucky she was …!
I must say Lisa had the most amazing pair of Wellies, how cool does she look in them?! She could cruise through Glastonbury no bother … and yes so could you Gary with your very stylish Cowboy Hat! : )
Our theme for the day was literally Summer fun; splashing in the water, having a Bbq (not forgetting the red sauce), sipping Prosecco in the sun and basically getting lost in the moment … I had such a laugh and cannot wait for their Wedding next Summer at the stunning Watermill in Lisnaskea.

Ursula Bamford is certainly getting her name out there where her headpiece designs are concerned, she has a beautiful collection of casual, dressy and also bridal designs which we wanted to show you all!
Her desings are all very girly and hey, where is a girl happier really than in a cake shop – enter ‘Crumbs’ on the Lisburn Road!
Kerry Ride the owner has just reopened her Shop next door to the original Shop, only now it’s even better with a cafe area to sample all her wonderful goodies (and yes of course we did too … the parma violet icing was just heavenly at 10am)! Call in to see Kerry’s Wedding Cakes and Cupcakes, you’ll not be disappointed!
Our team of girls helping to pull it all together were Ursula Bamford, Jennifer Ireland Make up, Lynette Ball Hair, Nikita Tully Styling with some fabulous dresses from Harrison’s and Sharon Hay with her wonderfully creative Innocent Chaos Bouquets.
This Shoot was more about the girls enjoying a day in Crumbs, sampling the goodies and giving us the Summer feeling that we’re clearly missing this June : )
The girls did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup, very fresh and vibrant in colour; I could watch these girls at work all day! Nikita styled Rebecca and Tasha in such beautiful dresses which I clearly now want in my wardrobe, but it’s her little creative edge using Ursula’s designs that made them even more appealing … busy this w’end Nikita?!

At the stunning Wedding of Neville & Karen Rodgers I had the privilege of working alongside Tim and Sandra from Floral Earth in Holywood.
They literally must have brought the shop with them, I have never seen such a beautiful array of colours and variety of beautiful flowers! The guys worked endlessly to transform the Castle and Marquee and even the typical Northern Irish rain didn’t put a stop to their creativity. With it being a 3 day Wedding it meant their wonderful creations weren’t put to waste, oh no, they actually rearranged their masterpieces into beautiful table displays for the Post Wedding Formal on the Sunday Evening!
One advantage of the Sunday Evening celebrations meant there weren’t too many guests distracting them at their work . . . just a few sore heads made sure of that : )
Here is a little peek of their work, you won’t be disappointed . . . !

Quite excited at the fact that I am actually going to have an Exhibition this weekend and what better way to do it than in a quirky manner!!
The Fashion Souk girls Tonya and Alyson have been great, they came to me a few months back now to hold an Exhibition as part of their Fashion/Home Souk. This w’end is the perfect combination at The Europa Hotel where my images will be on display in the mirrored corridor for all to see!
For this Exhibit I will be showing some of my past work alongside my recent pieces which I have collaborated with Jan Lowry and Jennifer Ireland Makeup. The combination of our talents create some very striking pieces, Jan has some wonderful concepts which Jennifer brought to life with her fabulous Makeup skills.
Here is a sneak peek of what you could see and even better get the opportunity to purchase for some beautiful ‘Wall Furniture’ in your home! This was mainly the reason for our Exhibit; to create a collection of images that aren’t just the typical canvas you would buy in the likes of Ikea. So, come on, I know you creatives out there want something fresh and inspiring to look at every day . . . here’s your chance!!!
Jennifer and Jan will be down at The Europa if you would like to chat about any of the images or indeed purchase, I am shooting a Wedding over the w’end otherwise I would have been there with bells on! Who knows though, if you like what you see there could be more to follow!!
My card will be down there if you want to pick one up and give me a call about what you see : ) ENJOY!

I went home over the Easter Break and came across this ray of sunshine in a field close to my house, it was absolutely brimming with Dandelions!
I know they’re a glorified weed at the end of the day but it was a beautiful sight; of course the first thing I wanted to do was get my GORGEOUS nephew Seth in the middle of it with his wee head of noodles (and a little help from my sis Ally)! : )

The Fashion Souk approached me a few months back to hold an exhibit at the entrance of their Souk on Sat 14th and Sun 5th May at the Europa.
Obviously the Souk is there for exhibitors to sell products (for Fashion and Home) so I decided to collaborate with my usual side kick Jan Lowry and Make-up Artist Jennifer Ireland to produce some ‘Wall Art’ or ‘Wall Furniture’ as we like to call it!
We wanted to create some simple images that focused on a close up of an eye for example or using lips as the focal point. These would be generic images that aren’t necessarily of just a model, they would be more of an abstract that people would feel comfortable having in their homes.
Jennifer produced some beautiful looks, my particular favourite is the blue and gold lips (stunning), I’d love an excuse to try this out but can’t quite think where it would work : )
It also helped that our model Noleen Curran has the most flawless skin (we were 3 envious girls that morning)!
We now have a series of 3 key eye looks and 3 for lips; let’s hope people love them as much as we do, after all, your neighbour probably has the run of the mill ‘Ikea’ Canvas, so why not have something original?!

It’s not every day that you wake up to find a Film Set on your Street . . . this was the excitement of my life this week . . . D-lighted!!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1545328/
Of course I grabbed my camera to get in on the action, I knew there would be a Stills Photographer already on set but capturing behind the scenes was fascinating in itself!
Our Street was used for the plotting of the Robbery and the get away scenes, I was a happy girl watching this all unfold into the small hours!
I have never seen so much commotion on my sleepy little street but I was also thoroughly impressed at how it all ran like a well oiled ship! Each member of the crew had their jobs down to a T, they moved from scene to scene with such precision and respect for each others space. Clearly I didn’t want to get in the way of this, so I managed to get a few pics from the outskirts . . .
You’ll see Martin McCann in the pics, he was on set both days but unfortunately no sign of Brendan Fraser or Colm Meaney . . . I’ll have to wait to see them on screen like everyone else : )

Yesterday I entered this majestic house on the Malone Road for a Lizzie Agnew Bridal Shoot – not a bad way to start the week!
Lizzie’s friend Kate is the proud owner of this home where she lives with her husband and daughter; they were so generous to let us take over for the day and quite the hosts with an endless supply of tea and cake : ) This house was a true inspiration from start to finish, every corner I turned I was in awe of the little treasures I came across. I now have a fascination with chairs, I’m not sure if any two matched which I just loved; Antique’s Road Show would have an absolute field day!!
Lizzie wanted these pics for purely point of sale and not so much a quirky bridal shoot, which was still beautiful but I did have to control my creative juices hehe (maybe i’ll make a return visit if Kate allows)! You will see the decor of the rooms we used are just a step back in time and if we ever needed anything like a lace handkerchief to pearls or diamonds – Kate was our lady!
Claire McEvoy did a beautiful job on the makeup – I would love to pull off those luscious reds and pink lip colours! I had never worked with Kelly McLean Hair Stylist either so it was fun to see the styles she created – quite an amazing bit of backcombing I think you’ll agree. Our models Lauren and Sophia did a fab job of modeling Lizzie’s stunning collection – I’ve definitely fallen for the short Wedding Dress – wow!
Here are a few of the pics . . .
